Kids Campus Attendant

The Kids Campus Attendant is responsible for the ultimate safety of the children in your care. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Provide a safe and positive experience for children in the program
  2. Interact with the children on their level
  3. Greet parents as they drop/pick up their children
  4. Ability to adapt to changing needs and circumstances
  5. Must be friendly, dependable and enjoy playing with the children while keeping safety and member service as top priorities
  6. Show good communication skills
  7. Have a good working knowledge of all babysitting and general YMCA policies
  8. Keep a positive, calm demeanor in all situations, being willing to pitch in and help when needed, following babysitting and YMCA guidelines, maintaining a cheerful attitude
  9. Assist members as needed with information regarding babysitting and forms that require completion
  10. Wear appropriate attire and name tag on a daily basis
  11. Guide new parents through our sign-in procedure and ensure all paperwork is fully completed
  12. Must hold current CPR and first aid skills for adult and child
  13. Demonstrate and model qualities of YMCA Core Values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility

I understand that, other than the CEO of the YMCA, no manager, supervisor or representative of the YMCA has authority to enter into any agreement for employment for any specific period of time, or to make any agreement contrary to the foregoing. Only the CEO of the YMCA has the authority to make any agreement contrary to the foregoing and then only in writing. I further expressly agree that, with respect to the at-will employment relationship, this constitutes the full, complete and final expression of the parties' intent concerning the nature of any employment relationship between myself and the YMCA.
