B.R. Ryall YMCA's SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2008 This is an event the entire family will enjoy. With a 5K family fun run and a 1 mile kid's run, there is something for everyone. And while you are doing something good for yourself, you're also helping raise funds to support the Y's Strong Kids Campaign which provides YMCA membership and programs to everyone despite their ability to pay. QUICK GUIDE When: Saturday, May 17, 2008, 8:00 a.m. -5K, 8:45 a.m. - 1 Mile Kid's Run, 9:00 a.m. - Awards Where: Taste of Glen Ellyn | Main Street, Glen Ellyn Cost: 5k - $25, Kid's 1 Mile - $5 Ages 6-12, Free for ages 5 & under (registration required), Register Online before 5/15 and receive $5 off (adults only). Prizes: Men's & Women's top three overall and five-year age groups Race Packet Pickup: May 16 at the YMCA 7:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m., May 17 at the race start 6:30-7:45 a.m. Directions: From the south - Roosevelt Road to Glen Ellyn Main Street, From the North - North Avenue to Glen Ellyn Road/Main Street Parking: Parking available at the following locations:
Race Course: Family participation is strongly encouraged on this rolling 5k through beautiful downtown Glen Ellyn and surrounding neighborhoods. Split times will be given at 1, 2 and 3 miles. Runners wishing to push baby strollers will be required to remain behind others at the start and during the race. Results: Results will be available at the award ceremony and
