Preschool Age Sports
Toddler Tumble (2-3 year olds with
parent)
Rolls, cartwheels, headstands and more! This class is beginning tumbling for your toddler. Emphasis is placed on gross and fine motor skills, following simple directions and learning to respect themselves and others while building self-esteem and confidence. Wednesdays 10:00-10:30am
Bending Buddies (Age 3–6 years)
Taught by a certified YogaFit Instructor, we will focus on exercise, breathing, creative thinking and team work, while practicing various yoga positions. This class will also include a brief relaxation position and a corresponding interactive story at the end. Your little one will have a lot of fun, while you enjoy your own workout! Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:00-10:00am
Kindergym (Age 4–6 years)
This class serves as an introduction to our progressive program for your
preschooler or kindergartner. Children will begin to learn basic gymnastics
or build on what they have learned along with proper terminology and
technique. Emphasis is placed on fun! Wednesdays 10:30-11:00am
Preschool Soccer (Age 3–6 years)
This is a non-competitive program. Your kids will learn basic and advanced soccer skills while having fun. Mondays or Wednesdays 4:30-5:00pm
PeeWee Basketball (Age 4-6 years)
A stepping stone to our YMCA basketball leagues, this will introduce 4-6 year olds to the sport of basketball and teach them the fundamentals. Wednesdays 10:00-10:30am
PeeWee T-Ball (Age 4–6 years)
A stepping stone to our YMCA T-Ball league, this will introduce 4-6 year olds to the sport of baseball and teach them the fundamentals. Children will learn base running, catching, throwing and hitting from a tee while developing their basic motor skills, hand-eye coordination and team work. Spring Session Only Thursdays 10:00-10:30am
