Arts & Humanities Volunteer Opportunities ASSISTANT TEACHER Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Arts and Humanities Coordinator. The assistant will help the Lead Instructor with one of the following type classes: Art, Spanish, Dance, Reading. Specific class will be based on individual qualification and interest. Additional responsibilities include: > Assistant Teacher understands and incorporates Character Development
and the YMCA mission in classes Qualifications > Some knowledge of subject matter Commitment All regular volunteers must attend a mandatory volunteer orientation and any necessary trainings.
