Chase to the Taste Volunteer The annual Chase to the Taste 5K run / 1 mile youth run is an exciting community event for the entire family. All ages are encouraged to participate and receive t-shirts, breakfast and awards. Youth participants receive a participation ribbon, and medals are awarded overall for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place boy and girl. Raffle prizes will be given away as well. Estimated 300 participants. Halloween at the YMCA Volunteer Halloween at the YMCA is a great event for the entire family! Children of all ages are are invited to join us at the Y for trick-or-treating, concessions and a variety of fun games for everyone. For the brave of heart, there's the Haunted Pool. For the more timid, there is a Moonwalk, face painting, carnival and more. Estimated 300-700 attendees. Volunteer Opportunities
Easter Egg Hunt Volunteer The Easter Egg Hunt is a spring tradition at the YMCA for kids under 9 years of age. The gymnasium is set up for arts & crafts, pictures with the bunny and face painting. The Egg Hunt takes place outside in our the back fields which are divided into 3 areas - one for 3 and under with candy-filled eggs. One for 4-6 years with eggs filled with toys and candy, and one 7-9 years. The event is free for Members if they pre-register and $3.00 for non-members if they pre-register or $5.00 at the door. For more information, please contact Monica Flores Valentine's Dance Volunteer Our Family Valentine's Dance encourages families with kids 3 and up to come and have a fun evening together. The evening is highlighted by professional dj, concessions, arts & crafts, and pictures to make it all memorable. The event is Free for YMCA members if they pre-register and $5.00 for limited Members if pre-register. Tickets are available at the door for $5.00. Estimated 200 attendees. Volunteer Opportunities
