Shaping Character

Posted on December 5, 2013

When a dual-income household became a necessity, I first tried the nanny route. While the care was adequate, I wanted so much more.

I found that “more” at the Y. The Y offered something for each and every member of my family, was accommodating, friendly, helpful and went out of their way, making us feel unique and special.

All three of my boys have been in the Y’s Child Care. I credit their healthy eating habits, polite manners and good listening skills to the great staff at the Y. I can honestly say that my children are better people for being in the Y’s Child Care programs. They are conscientious, well-socialized, confident kids. The Y Child Care program has always treated us like family and has made a big footprint on the unique and wonderful qualities that my kids exhibit. For that, I will forever be grateful and indebted to the Y.
