Financial Assistance

MEMBERSHIP FOR ALL

At the Y, we believe that access to healthy living and youth development programs should be available to all in our community. To make this possible, we offer all prospective and current members the opportunity to apply for financial assistance through our Membership for All program. This can help to reduce costs for you and your family.

The many generous donors who support the Y make our commitment to providing affordable programs and services possible. With the community behind us, we proudly provide support to youth, adults and families based on individual needs and circumstances.

What is Membership for All?

Membership for All is a discount applied to memberships for youth, adults, seniors and families that are not able to pay the full membership rate. Financial assistance is granted on a sliding scale, based on income and need. All information is kept confidential. Support from this fund reduces membership fees; however, it does not eliminate them. You will be expected to pay a portion of the monthly membership dues to demonstrate your desire and commitment to participate.

To apply for Membership for All, download and print the application. Once completed please turn it in at the YMCA Welcome Desk.

Estimate your monthly rate

Referring to the charts below, use your annual income and household size to determine the percentage of financial assistance you are eligible to receive toward your B.R. Ryall YMCA membership.

Monthly membership rate x eligible discount percentage, then subtract that amount from the monthly rate to determine what you will pay.
Example: (for a household of 4 with an annual income of $36,000 wanting a family membership)
$87 x 0.45 = 39.15
$87 – $39.15 = $47.85
Monthly rate would be $47.85.
