Join us for a frightfully fun Halloween cupcake decorating class! Our friends from Entree Kitchen will lead the way, providing each guest with six house-made cupcakes, scratch-made marshmallow fluff buttercream in festive Halloween colors, and a variety of spooky sprinkles and icing to bring your creepy–cute creations to life.
Enjoy your sweet treats here or take them home in a provided container. No tricks—just treats!

Senior Outing: All About Poinsettias
Each year, Cantigny’s greenhouse bursts with beautiful holiday color. Join us for this one-of-a-kind tour of their greenhouse filled with thousands of poinsettias. Cantigny staff will share facts and tips while we view over 15 different types of this popular holiday plant.
Registration is required, as space is limited. Stop by the YMCA Welcome Desk to register or click the button below. Please note that transportation is not provided for this trip. We will meet at the trip location at the designated time. Parking will be available on-site at the greenhouse. Enter Cantigny from the Shaffner Rd. entrance, just south of Roosevelt Rd. Wear good walking shoes; floors tend to be slick.

Senior Cooking Series: Christmas Cookie Decorating
Get ready to sprinkle some holiday cheer! Our friends from Entrée Kitchen are back to lead a Christmas Cookie Decorating Class that’s sure to put you in the spirit of the season.
You’ll decorate a dozen freshly baked, scratch-made sugar cookies in jolly holiday shapes using colorful frostings, sprinkles, and all the fun trimmings. Enjoy your sweet creations right away or take them home in the container provided. Don’t wait—spots fill up faster than Santa’s sleigh!
